Pierre Jeanneret’s library desk

Covered in a black leather panel, this solid sisso “office table” is a remarkable piece by Swiss architect and designer Pierre Jeanneret (1896-1967).
Marked DIH/T-152/III on the visitor’s side, it opens onto four central compartments and two side compartments.
A similar piece from Chandigarh can be found in the collections of the National Museum in Zurich.
