”Emballage agressé” artwork by Claude Gilli

Claude Gilli ( 1938 – 2015) is a leading artist of the ”École de Nice” artistic movement. He has considerably contributed to the affirmation of French pop art. Born in Nice, he studied at the Nice School of Decorative Arts in 1955. Between 1957 and 1959, during his first exhibitions at the Galerie de Longchamp, he befriended Albert Chubac, Martial Raysse and Ben.
