Gino Sarfatti

Gino Sarfatti (1912-1985) was an Italian designer and a pioneering figure in modern lighting. He founded the company Arteluce in 1939, which became a leader in innovative lighting design throughout the mid-20th century. Sarfatti is known for his experimental approach, using new materials and technology, and creating over 600 lighting designs in his career. His works are characterized by elegance, minimalism, and functional innovation. Today, his iconic creations are celebrated for their timeless appeal and are part of numerous international design collections.
