Stilnovo was founded by Bruno Gatta in 1946 in Italy. If post-war Italy established itself internationally as a result of a harmonious association between emerging industrial design and distinguished names in contemporary architecture, Stilnovo translated this combination through the lighting sector. Ever since, the company has always responded in a creative way to the social, aesthetic and functional needs of each decade, by collaborating with designers who marked the 20th century such as Castiglioni, Aulenti, Colombo, Sottsass, De Pas, D’Urbino & Lomazzi, Gorgoni.
